In November, 2010 the existing Quality Management System (QMS) of the Bakoulev CCVS of RAMS underwent successful recertification. 

The Center received a Certificate of Conformity to GOST R ISO 9001-2008 (ISO 9001:2008) for following activities:
  • provision of healthcare services;
  • conduction of research;
  • publishing of scientific literature;
  • postgraduate education;
  • development and production of medical devices for internal prosthetics.
The Certificate shall be valid until November, 2013. 

“This is the second certification since 2007, when by the order of the Center’s Director, RAMS academician Leo A. Bockeria, a Quality Management System was developed and implemented in the Center. Acquiring of a next certificate once again proves that we strongly adhere to the strictest quality standards.” – States professor I.N. Stupakov, Quality Control Supervisor and Deputy Director for scientific and organizational work and management of the Bakoulev CCVS of RAMS. – “This certificate is another evidence of our endeavor and commitment to constant development and improvement of the quality of our work.”
