Bakulev’s Scientific Center of Cardiovascular Surgery of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences is giving students an opportunity to study at the residency and prepare for a Ph.D. or Doctoral theses in the following specialties: “Cardiovascular Surgery”, “Cardiology”, “Anesthesiology and Intensive Care”, “Functional Diagnostics” and “Radiology”.
Free Academic education is possible for Moscow citizens but all other students of Russia, Community of Independent Countries (CIC) and foreigners should pay a fee. These fees are listed below:

- Diploma + attested copy of diploma (copy should be attested in the last place of study or work).
- Diploma supplement (with its attested copy).
- Autobiography.
- 3 photos (3x4)
- Medical form (086-Y) with certificate confirming the absence of AIDS, HbsAg, RW.
- Personnel department registration form.
- Attested copy of work record card – for those who work.
- Loose-leaf binder.
- Written statement.
- List of published materials or written report.
- Reference.
- Diploma + attested copy of diploma (copy should be attested in the last place of study or work).
- Autobiography.

To start post graduate research the person should have at least three years work experience in a related specialty or finished residency in this specialty.

- Ph.D. certificate.
- Brief annotation of performed work (of Ph.D. thesis)
- Autobiography.

- Medical form (086-Y) with certificate confirming the absence of AIDS, HbsAg, RW.
