The “Laboratory of Medical Technology” LLC was founded in the end of 1997 with the participation and on the basis of the Bakoulev CCVS. Within the Company’s scope of activities are organization of research, production and supply of implantable cardiac pacemakers and other devices for the purposes of arrhythmology and electrophysiology.
The majority of the LMT LLC personnel are former employees of the Nudelman Precision Engineering Design Bureau – an organization, which in the early 60th of the previous century was the first in Russia to develop and introduce into clinical practice own implantable cardiac pacemaker.
Design of equipment is conducted in close cooperation with the Bakoulev CCVS, the Vishnevsky Institute of Surgery, the Medical Research Institute of Transplantation and Artificial Organs, and other leading cardiac surgical centers of Russia. Our specialists actively participate in the session “Tools, Equipment and Devices for Cardiovascular Surgery” that takes place within the framework of the annual All-Russian Congress of Cardiovascular Surgeons. Besides, they are among members of the Commission on the Tools, Instruments and Materials for Cardiovascular Surgery of the Committee on New Technology of the Russian Ministry of Health.
Designs are based on developed basic technologies and constructions of batch production factories that have been producing implantable cardiac pacemakers and electrodes for several decades.
LMT’s implantable electric cardiac pacemakers are equipped with small-sized electric devices with a high degree of integration and large capacity power sources produced by leading local and foreign manufacturers.
LMT LLC has following federal licenses:
#42/99-964-1233 of 20.09.1999 for production and
#42/99-0964-1233-1Д of 18.10.1999 for sales of medical equipment and products.
The company also has all necessary registration certificates, certificates of compliance and other crucial documentation for the whole range of the production manufactured and sold.
LMT LLC is a repeat winner of tenders for supply of cardiac pacemakers of the Russian Ministry of Health (in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002) and regional tenders (in Kirov, Krasnoyarsk, Lipetsk, Murmansk, Voronezh, Rostov-upon-Don, etc.). At the Meditex International Exhibition on Medical Equipment and Surgical Instruments, the Company’s product ЭКС-300-SSI-ЛМТ received the II Degree Diploma.
